Track your brand in Perplexity
Perplexity is search-native and attributes heavily, so its answers carry more citations per response than most engines. That makes it the most useful single surface for working out which third-party sources decide your category, even for brands whose buyers mostly use something else.
What makes Perplexity different to track?
Citation density. It attributes far more of its answer than a conversational assistant does, so a Perplexity answer set is effectively a ranked list of the sources that decide your category.
Even when Perplexity is not where your buyers are, that citation data is worth having. It tells you which reviews, roundups and communities to work on, and those same sources feed retrieval in other engines.
Does appearing in Perplexity mean I will appear elsewhere?
Not reliably. Source pools differ between engines, so strong Perplexity presence is a useful signal rather than a guarantee.
Common questions
Materially more than a conversational assistant, which is the reason to track it even at lower buyer share. Your own answer set will show the exact figure for your category within a scan or two.
Every plan includes every engine at one price, with six enabled per scan. See pricing or the published formulas for how each engine is weighted.
