Knowledge graph
A structured map of entities and the relationships between them, used to reason about what a thing is rather than what words describe it.
Google's knowledge graph is the best-known example, powering the panels that appear beside branded searches. Models use similar structures to understand that a company belongs to a category, competes with certain others, and was founded by particular people.
You cannot edit a knowledge graph directly. You influence it by being described consistently across many sources, which is why entity work and third-party coverage feed the same outcome.
