AI visibility score

The share of AI answers that mention your brand, weighted so that higher-demand questions and higher-reach engines count for more.

How it is calculated
VS = Σ ( w_vol(p) × w_model(e) × mention_rate(p,e) ) ÷ Σ ( w_vol(p) × w_model(e) ) × 100

A raw mention count is misleading, because it treats a question nobody asks as equal to one thousands of buyers ask, and it treats a niche engine as equal to ChatGPT. A visibility score weights both.

Two weighting choices decide whether the number is useful. Prompt demand should be scaled, not raw: a log scale means a 10,000-searches-a-month question weighs roughly four times a zero-volume one rather than ten thousand times, so high-volume terms are influential without being able to drown everything else. Engine weight should reflect reach, and should be published rather than hidden, because an unpublished weight is an unfalsifiable number.

Treat single-day movement carefully. Generated answers are stochastic, so the same prompt set run twice in a day will not return the same score. A visibility score is a series, not a reading.
